The Trials Line — Terms of Use (End User License Agreement)

By creating an account or using The Trials Line (the "App"), operated by The Trials Line LLC ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. Direct (1-on-1) messaging is limited to users 18 and older; users under 18 may participate in group-ride chats only. You represent that your age attestation is accurate. If you are 13–17, your parent or guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time in the App (Profile → Delete account).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to: break the law; harass, threaten, stalk, or endanger anyone; post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable; impersonate others; spam or solicit fraudulent payments; or collect others' data without consent.

4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. By using the App you agree that:

• You will not post objectionable content or harass other users.
• You can report objectionable content or abusive users from anywhere it appears (riders, spots, rides, listings, and messages), and you can block any user.
• We will review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours — removing the content and/or ejecting the user who provided it.

This commitment is a condition of using the App and of its availability on the App Store.

Content from other users. Profiles, photos, spots, listings, and messages are created by other users — they are not ours and we do not endorse, verify, or adopt them. We use automated safeguards (text keyword screening and automated image scanning) and human review of reports, but we do not and cannot pre-screen all content, and automated tools are not perfect. You acknowledge that you may be exposed to content you find inaccurate, offensive, or objectionable, that you view and interact with user content at your own risk, and that The Trials Line LLC is not responsible or liable for user content or for any harm arising from it. Your sole remedy is to stop viewing the content, block the user, report it, and/or stop using the App.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create, and you grant The Trials Line LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display that content within the App to operate the service. You are solely responsible for content you post and represent that you have the rights to share it. You consent to the automated and human moderation described above, including the automated scanning of images you upload for unlawful or explicit content.

6. Assumption of risk; release and waiver

Trials cycling and related activities are inherently dangerous and can result in serious injury, permanent disability, or death. By using the App you knowingly and voluntarily acknowledge and agree that:

• You participate in any riding, use of spots, group rides, and in-person meetups entirely at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for your own safety, skill assessment, equipment, protective gear, and decisions.
• Spots, locations, difficulty ratings, and rider information in the App are user-submitted and approximate. We do not inspect or verify spots, vet users, confirm identities, or supervise any ride, spot session, or meetup.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and forever discharge The Trials Line LLC and its owners, members, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, or liability for any injury, death, loss, or property damage arising out of or relating to your use of the App, riding, spots, group rides, meetups, or interactions with other users — whether or not arranged or facilitated through the App, and whether arising on public or private property.
• You are responsible for obtaining any permission required to ride at a location and for complying with all applicable laws and property rules.
• If you are the parent or guardian of a user aged 13–17, you accept these Terms on their behalf and assume these risks for and on behalf of that minor.

7. Buying, selling, and transactions

Any buying, selling, or trading arranged between users is solely between those users. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any transaction, payment, item condition, dispute, injury, or loss arising from it. We do not provide escrow, payment processing, or buyer/seller protection. (Marketplace features may be unavailable in some versions of the App.)

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect users. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Trials Line LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any injury, loss, or dispute arising from rides, meetups, spots, or transactions arranged through the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or US $50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Trials Line LLC from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the App, your interactions or meetups with other users, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Utah for any dispute not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution.

12. Apple standard EULA

If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard EULA also applies; where it conflicts with these Terms, these Terms govern except as required by Apple. You acknowledge Apple is not responsible for the App or for addressing any claims relating to it.

13. Changes and contact
